最近又听到这首曾让我落泪的歌：The Cranberries（卡百利）乐队的《Animal instinct》，依旧那么好听，那么催人泪下。

 

    网上的歌词翻译看了很多，总觉得没有特别满意的，因此尝试着自己翻译了一下，首先英文歌词如下：

    翻译如下（我尽量让每句顺序对应）：

 

    在我精心呵护我所珍爱的东西时，突然发生的一件事，让我抑郁无比，好像自己完完全全的被压迫住了一样。

    知道吗，你让我哭泣，甚至让我痛不欲生……（“你”应该指的这件事，歌词本意为了表现强烈的意愿，而故意用第一人称来表达；我觉得“make me die ”与其在这里翻译成“杀死我”或者“让我死”，更贴切的意思应该是“让我寻死”或者“想到了死”，虽然我不知道可不可以引申成“痛不欲生”，在网上也没找到特别好的参考资料）

    谁都无法真正了解我的处境，心中无比的疑惑几乎要让我崩溃了，

    但我们还是拥有一件美好的东西……我们共同拥有的，一件美好的东西：动物的本能。

    抓住我的手和我一起来吧，我们要改变这个现实，

    握紧我的手，和我一起祈祷，祈祷他们再也不会把我们分开。

    尽管谁都无法真正了解我的处境，尽管心中的疑虑几乎要让我崩溃……（和上一段完全一样的两句词，不知他们的本意是否是单纯的重复，我还是把两处的翻译稍作了改动）

    但这就是动物，动物的本能，我的动物本能……

    （后重复略，可以说最后的重复是对自己不断的心理暗示，不断的为自己增添力量，坚定信念）

 

后记：很多人都说这首歌是表现母爱（因为MV拍的是表现母爱），但我觉得母爱只是动物本能的一种，用来表现其他的方面也同样可以，因此在翻译时我只描绘了歌所表达的感受，没有任何情节上的偏向。

 

后记2：咨询了相关人士“make me die”的意思后，感觉“Do you know you made me cry，Do you know you make me die”这两句词也许是对自己至爱的东西所说的，意思就是“你知道我愿为你哭泣，甚至愿意为你去死”……也许吧。
